8 Portraits follows a director in pursuit of an unconditionally truthful film who, in the process, becomes increasingly consumed by the subject of death. As his questions grow darker and more intrusive, the line between filmmaker and subject begins to blur, creating an emotionally charged exploration of truth, vulnerability, and mortality.
Shot on a mix of Kodak 16mm, 8mm film, and digital.
